I recently saw a repeat episode of Iron Chef America on the Food Network. The challenger was local Cleveland chef, Michael Symon of Lola and Lolita restaurants. Watching Chef Symon on Iron Chef inspired me to look up some of his recipes, many of which have an Eastern European inspiration. I have added a few to this site, and hope to try them soon.
